On June 11, 2026, more than 250 seniors, veterans, and community members gathered at Chandler’s Restaurant in Schaumburg for the annual Flag Day Celebration hosted by the Schaumburg Barn Senior Program.
OCTIHEALTH Home Health was proud to sponsor this event for the third consecutive year. The ceremony began when members of American Legion Post 1983 walked out carrying the American flag. The room grew quiet as they presented the colors, and many attendees stood in respect.
The afternoon included remarks from local leaders, live entertainment by Darryl Armistead, a catered lunch, bingo, and raffles. The American flag remained at the center of the celebration throughout the day.
We are grateful to Marina Lvovich and the team at the Schaumburg Barn Senior Program for organizing this meaningful event. Their dedication continues to bring seniors together to honor important traditions.
